Volunteers may decline any requests and especially those involving large quantities of information, information on multiple persons, or photocopies of pages from books and printouts from CDs, etc., therefore, minimal information may be obtained.
Please be very specific regarding your request for assistance from the volunteers as they cannot do genealogical research but are an aid for inquiring on references you cannot otherwise access. Volunteers may fill requests at their leisure (most between 2 weeks to 3 months); be sure to ask their availability upon your request. Remember to be polite, patient, and express your "gratitude" in your correspondence.
Land Deeds Family Relationships Database 1796-1844 This database was compiled from extracted family relationships stated in the deeds. It also includes the names of many slaves.
The Immaculate Conception Church, Maxville, Missouri, Souvenir of the Diamond Jubilee, 1842-1917. Contains: history of the parish; bios of all pastors, 1842-1917, with special section devoted to Rev. Heinrich Brockhagen (instrumental in starting the parish school); history of the school; history of church societies, listing officers and members; historical survey of parish, listing many families and church improvements, 1839-1918; section titled "The Jubilee Year and the Parish of Today", lists names of parisioners and their contributions for improvements/additions, what the improvements were, and a section with the complete list of all the Catholic families that lived within the boundary of the Immaculate Conception Parish, and how much they paid for pew rent for that year.
