June 1897--Rececca Bell , age 85 years died at her home north
of town Wednesday. Several weeks ago she fell and broke her
leg and her death was a result of her injury. She had been a
resident of this vicinity since 1865. She was the mother of
Lewis and Harve Bell. The remains were taken to Hickory
Point cemetery near Sweet Springs where she was buried.
