June 5, 1975--Mrs. Rose Shernaman 86, Sedalia died Saturday at the Campbell- Hawthorne House. She was born Sept. 28, 1888 in Johnson County the daughter of John and Ella Brosnahan. She was married to William H. Shernaman on April 22, 1914. They lived for many years on a farm east of Knob Noster. They retired in 1961 and moved to Sedalia. Mrs. Shernaman was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Altar Society of Sedalia. She is survived by her husband and several nieces and nephews. The funeral was held at the Sacred Heart Church with burial in the Knob Noster Cemetery. 1978--- William H Shernaman, 91 died July 31, 1978 at the Fairview Nursing Home in Sedalia. He was born July 15,1887 in Knob Noster the son of William and Theresa Hartman Shernaman. On April 22, 1914 he married Rose Ella Brosnahan at Warrensburg, and she died May 31, 1975. Mr. Shernaman was a farmer and stockman until his retirement in 1961. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors include a sister Mrs. Nannie B Harrison of LaMonte and several nieces and nephews. The funeral was held at the Moore Funeral Home at LaMonte. Burial was in the Knob Noster Cemetery.
