Confederate Roll of Honor: Missouri

The hard bound book (6x9) approximately 180 pages contains the names of over 6500 Confederate fatalities from Missouri. Names are in alphabetical order and each entry contains rank, unit served, cause, place and date of death. A coded bibliography reference to source of data is contained too.

The introductory section is a descriptive accounting of some of the Civil War politics and battles in Missouri. This is followed by a Glossary of Abbreviations, the 6500 entries, and concludes with a complete Bibliography of the coded sources of data.

Compiled and edited by Dr. Leslie Anders, Professor Emeritus of History from Central Missouri State University, and a noted authority on the Civil War.

This three volume publication was originally done by Mrs. Genevieve L. Carter of Sedalia, Missouri, in 1966. The West Central Missouri Genealogical Society has reprinted all three volumes (soft bound).
