Probate Judge, Jas. King Parr. State of Missouri, County of Johnson. In the matter of William E. Cox's estate, Horatio Cox says that to the best of his knowledge and belief the names of the heirs of the said William E. Cox, deceased, and their places of residence are respectively, as follows: Elizabeth Cox, widow of Johnson County, MO Matthew Cox, Pike County, MO Horatio Cox, Johnson County, MO Richard Cox, Moniteau County, MO Nancy Bills, Morgan County, MO William B. Cox, Johnson County, MO Samuel ______, Johnson County, MO Mary Ann Bargor(sp?) heirs, Morgan County, MO Elizabeth Vannoy's heirs, Moniteau County, MO That the said, William E. Cox, died without a will; that he will make a perfect inventory of and faithfully administer, all the estate of the deceased, and pay the debts as far as the assets will extend and the law directs--account for, pay and deliver all assets which shall come into his possession or knowledge. signed: Horatio Cox Subscribed and sworn to/before me this 21st day of July A.D. 1874 Sale was for farm animals and equipment. Bailey, James Bailey, F. R. Jackson, Wm. Minchel, Jack Bailey, Robert Atkins, W. A. Campbell, Gary Elliott, Nat Holden, G. W. Strange, O. J. Barnett, Thos. Perdue, Hubert Elliott, R. H. Atkins. W. A. Campbell was the clerk of the sale. John A. Doak was Justice of the Peace of Rose Hill Township that signed papers during the appraisal. Settlement was filed the 1st day of January 1877 with W. L.
