OBITUARY

"MRS. JOHN KENTON [Barbara Ann MARR] aged 59 years, died at her home 8
miles southwest of this city [Warrensburg, Mo.] Tuesday of pneumonia. The
funeral services were held from the house today after which the remains
were interred in the Greer cemetery. (No date on newspaper clipping - of
course 

Rev. ***Hurley*** will officiate." 

Do you know what church this Rev. was affiliated with? and perhaps it
would lead to where her records would likely be found. "Pisgah" rings a
bell, somehow. They lived around Chilhowee in 1896, I think.

Note: I have been unable to locate her burial site, stone, or any
documented record of her death.

FYI - on the QT - Barbara's husband, John G. Kenton was a Union soldier
(Sgt) who died in Okla. in 1914.
