ALBERTA L. ST.CLAIR

  Alberta L. St.Clair, 71, Odessa, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2000 at 
home.
  She was born February 7, 1929 in Independence, Missouri, the daughter of 
Calvin McMechan and Anna Cartmill McMechan.
  On February 23, 1947 she married John Leonard St.Clair in Englewood, Missouri.  
He survives of the home.
  She attended the Old Mason School in Blue Springs, Missouri.  She was raised 
and attended the R.L.D.S. Church.
  Survivors in addition to her husband are a son, Michael "Mike" St.Clair, 
Odessa; one brother and wife, John and Margie McMechan, Holden; one sister and 
husband, Shirley and Jack Blankenship, Independence; four grandsons, Daniel, 
Kenneth, Richard, and Thomas St.Clair.
  Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 12, at the Ralph O. Jones 
Chapel, with Pastor Keith Hall officiating.  Burial was at Perdee Cemetery, 
Grain Valley , Missouri.
  Pallbearers were Daniel St.Clair, Kenneth St.Clair, Richard St.Clair, Thomas 
St.Clair, and John McMechan.
  Memorial contributions may be made to Perdee Cemetery Association, Grain 
Valley, Missouri.


JUDY IRENE SCHMIDT

  Judy Irene Schmidt, 56, Prestion, Missouri, passed away  August 12, 2000.
  She was born November 21, 1943, in Leon, Iowa. She married Fritz Schmidt in 
1968, and live in Holden and Centerview before moving to Hermitage where they 
lived for seven years.  After he died in 1995, she moved to Preston.
  Survivors include two sons, John and Him Schmidt, both of Springfield; her 
father, Winfield Bowen, Mount Ayr, IA; her mother and stepfather, James and 
Leora Naslund, Preston; a brother, Lindon Ray Bowen, Madrid, IA; two sisters, 
Patricia Ann Stephens, Holden and Betty Ruth Sega, Springfield; and four 
grandchildren.
  Graveside services were held Tuesday, August 15, 2000, at Clark Cemetery near 
Hermitage with Rev. Terry Colwell officiating.  Internment was under the 
direction of Cantlon Otterness Funeral Home, Urbana.
