Comments: BRYANT - SHAFFER - John Conrad Bryant (b.~1823/24) married Sarah Ann Shaffer (b. ~1827) on 21 Sep 1848. They appear in Johnson CO - Jackson TWP in 1860 census with children Henry, Anna (my great great grandmother), John and Sarah. Wife Sarah died on 28 Feb 1866. John remarried quickly on 15 Nov 1866 to Sarah M. Hulse, a much younger woman and moved to Lafayette CO in 1870 census. John died on 30 Dec 1893 and his body was taken back to Johnson CO to be buried next to his first wife. I believe they are buried in Blackwater Cemetary. I am interested in finding information on his first wife's death and any info on their tombstones in Blackwater. I believe his death and removal back to Johnson CO have been mentioned in some book, but I don't know which. Can you help? Thank you.

Comments: I am searching for information on the family of John M. Bosacker (Bossacker/Bosaker/Bossecker/Bosecker) living in Warrensburg, MO from prior to 1870 till at least the turn of the century. John M. Bosaker's will is listed in Will Book 1894-1905 Page 267. This would seem to put his death right at the turn of the century. He was married with a daughter, age 5, in the 1880 census. Also in the household in 1880 was a sister-in-law, Mattie Morgan. Scott Bosecker sbosecker@mindspring.com

Comments: My gr-grandparents, James and Tamer BOONE, lived in Johnson County in the 1860s-early 1870s. They lived close to Tamer's brothers Hugh TRUESDALE and Eli TRUESDALE. The Boones and Eli Truesdale moved on to Colorado, but Hugh & Tammer Truesdale remained in Johnson County. I am interested in finding their descendants.
