SEEKING FOR
INFORMATION ON D.G. WARDEN and wife SUSAN ADAMS, that was on the
WARRENSBURG 1860 CENSUS. Had a son named James L. who was a M.D. This
James is in the book 1883 HISTORY of CASS COUNTY,MISSOURI. THis is what
the biography reads-----
James L. Warden, a prominent physician
of this city, was born in Mercer County,Ky April 8,1853. The family,as
its name imports, is of Scotch origin, James' grandfather having been a
native of that country. His father,D.G. Warden,M.D. ,was a Kentuckina
by birth and was for many years engaged in the practice of medicine.
For several years, prior to his death he was occupied in merchandising.
The wife of D.G. Warden was formerly Miss Susan Adams, a native of
Kentucky. When James L. Warden was but two years of age his parents
moved to Missouri, and located in Warrensburg.,where he received his
education. On October 15,1879 Dr. James L. Warden was amrried to Josie
Louise O'Connor by which they had one child, Louise( b. September
6,1880,died February 4,1884). Josie O'Connoe was born July 8,1857 in
Corpus Christi,Nueces County,Kentucky,daughter of Joseph O'Connor an
attorney and now judge of the circuit court in Nueces County,Texas.
Josie died March 3,1884(same year as her daughter). Both Josie and her
daughter are buried in the Pleasant Hill Cemetary in Cass
County,Missouri. On the 1860 census it lists D.G. Warden age 39
born Ky, a Robert Warden age 22 born NC, James L. age 7 born in KY, and
Susan(Adams) age 33 born in KY. I am wondering since James wife
and daughter died in 1884 if he had remarried and may of moved back to
Warrensburg and who the ROBERT WARDEN was listed on the 1860 census was
with James parents. I am thinking this Robert may of been a younger
brother or a nephew. Does anyone know where D.G. Warden and wife Susan
Adams are buried at in Warrensburg????? If anyone has nay
inforamtion,please email me-----Thanks from Cindy

Looking for
information on Sullivans living in Warrensburg. I have very little
information to go on. In a letter that my great aunt wrote in 1978, she
mentioned that there were records in Tipton, Warrensburg, California,
Sedalia, Syracuse and Dresden. My Ggrandfather, Patrick F. was born
near Syracuse in Morgan Co. His brother, Will lived in Sedalia in 1933
(longer, but I havea note from him dated in FEB of 1933 along with wife
Josephine. Another brother, Maurice, lived in Kansas City. Other names
are Mary - died as infant; Michael b. 6-SEP-1870 d. 24-NOV-1900;
Humphrey b.? d. 10-APR-1909; Ben b.1869 d 1915 - could be named Dennis
Benjamin. Most likely the father named for all is Denis, mother is
Mary. All of my ggrandfather's brothers worked on the railroad. Pat and
Will were both conductors. Pat (ggf) moved his family from Sedalia to
St. Louis in 1910.

Anna reportedly died 1847/1848 as Anthony remarries. Anna's sister,
Aigthy "Eightie" and James B. Harris also lived in Johnson Co. MO (1850
& 1860) but disappear. Migration trends might be helpful if someone

I am seeking
information on the death date of Martha Moody Tuttle James who was born
in 1812 in KY/TN. According to the internet data on the Johnson County,
Missouri, cemetery site, Martha James is buried in Pittsville Cemetery
(near her son-in-law and 3 grandsons and 2 of their wives--the Charles
H. Eads family.) Her death date is listed on the internet as 11-9-1830.
I believe the death year is in error and should actually read 1880 or
1883. Would someone be so kind as to check the original cemetery record
book (Pittsville, Missouri Cemetery Records, Vol. 1, 1981) to see if
this is so? Thank you so much for your assistance.

We have a bible record that states that John Mike BYERLEY died in Sept.
