This is a photo of a group of women - at top of photo it's labeled "Newark MO" and on back it says "Newark Mo, 1935".

Found this photo at a second hand store in Downing MO, just picked it up because it did have "Newark" on it :) Will be happy to not only have it identified, but returned to family it belongs to. Will also post this photo on NEMO Genealogy site (Knox Co), in the hope that someone will recognize someone in the photo and be able to identify it.

The following six ( 6 ) groups of pictures are from:  Ben in Ft. Worth, TX
"I recently received from the estate of my aunt (who died last year at age 95) a Victorian Photo Album.  It contained approximately 35 photos from the late 19th and or very early 20th century.  Only four were labeled, but because of the presence of my grandmother's photo and the fact that some of the photos were from MO, I have labeled this album as the NORTON family album, the album of my great-grandfather, George Hanan Norton (whose photo is present and labeled).  George had two younger brothers who moved to MO, John James and Samuel Durbon Norton.  Both of their families were in Scotland Co., as well as Clark, Lewis and Knox Co., MO.  I am hoping that some of the current Norton descendants will recognize the attached photos, most which are unlabeled except as noted.  I feel that all these individuals are related to the Norton family is some way.
Please circulate this around among the descendants.  I will be happy to supply copies of any identified photos to descendants of the individuals if requested.

Unknown #2:  Husband and wife, from the Gilhousen Studio of Kahoka, Clark Co., MO.  These photos were apparently mailed back to KY, one on top of the other, and were slightly damaged in route by bending of the letter or package.  They both have an identical crease (bend) in the photo and its cardboard mount.

The little girl with the large bow in her hair is reported to have been my grandmother, Ferol Carolyn Rimer.  She was born in Edina, Missouri on 16 May, 1902.  The woman's lap she is sitting on is probably her grandmother, my great-great grandmother, Melissa Ann (Marble) Jameson, daughter of Reece Marble and Jemima Reed.  The gentleman sitting to the right of the pair is probably Melissa's husband, Hiram Jameson.  We do not know who the other people are in the photo.  We believe the photo was taken in Knox County, Missouri.  I am hoping someone can positively  identify the other people and the location. Thanks for the help! Mary Anna Fox     foxit at ev1 dot net
