Laclede County Research Helps

The main Laclede County Courthouse is at 2nd and Adams Streets in Lebanon. Records are relatively complete although divorce records were destroyed by fire and begin in 1925.
Marriage records from 1849-1855 are sketchy, but complete after 1855.
To check on fees for copies go to  http://lacledecountymissouri.org/recorder/FEE.html, be sure to send a SASE.

Courthouse hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.(Central Time Zone), closed weekends and holidays. (Missouri celebrates Truman's Birthday on May 8th each year, only changed if it falls on a Saturday or Sunday, no other different holidays.)
