Thomas Porter Jones(9Feb1823 - 21May1914), son of Thomas T. Jones and Mary "Polly" Hughes Dillingham. He came from Caldwell County, KY to Missouri with his new bride, Silvira Dunning, in a party consisting of his parents and several other members of his family, as well as several members of Silvira's family. She was 15 and he was 17. It is said that he and Silvira owned nothing but a chopping axe at the time. Thomas' siblings were Margarette J. Jones; Elizabeth Lucinda Jones (md. William Thompson); William W. Jones (md. Lucinda Dillingham); George Simon Dillingham Jones (md. Amanda E. Clayton); David W. Jones (md. Mary Pettitt); Clarissa Matilda Jones (md. William Hood); Sarah F. Jones (never married); Andrew Jackson Jones (md. Charlotte Garroutte); Martin VanBuren Jones (md. Nancy Garroutte).

Thomas was a farmer and a cobbler. He and Silvira moved to Edna, Labette County, KS towards the end of the Civil War, raising the remainder of their children and a couple of their grandchildren. Their children were: Mary E. Jones; Sarah Adeline Jones (md. Amos Ruckman); William J. Jones; Nancy Jones; Martha J. Jones (md. James Ridley); James Jones (md. Martha Rodgers); Thomas M. Jones; Silvira Lucinda "Lucy" Jones (md. Riley T. O'Neal); Milton Lafayette Jones; Francis Matilda Jones (md. Wiley A. Medlin); Martin VanBuren Jones (md. Nancy McGuire); Leona L. Jones. Thomas is buried in the Lucas cemetery at Edna, KS.

Silvira (Dunning) Jones15Jun1825 - 17Apr1901), daughter of John Dunning and Either Sarah Smith or Sally Moore. She married Thomas Porter Jones 14Jul1840 in Caldwell County, KY. Silvira is buried in the Lucas cemetery at Edna, KS.

David W. Jones(1830-26Sep1871) - Son of Thomas T. Jones and Mary "Polly" Hughes Dillingham; Mary Ann "Polly" Pettitt Jones(12Sep1830 - 04Nov1909), daughter of George Pettitt and Jane Courtney. David and Polly came to Missouri about 1840 with other members of their families, and were married in Lawrence County on 20Jul1848. He is buried in the Jones/Blubaum cemetery in Lawrence County, and she is buried at the Rosehill cemetery in Billings. Their children were: Francis Marion Jones (md. Martha Grammer); George Thomas Jones (md. Sarah G. Ruckman); Martha Ann Jones (md. Jacob Lewis); James K. Polk Jones (md. Margaret Willis, Sarah Louisa Willis, Delia Seybold, and Melinda Louise -?-); John David Jones (md. Mary Grammer, Manda Twide and Martha Day); Lucinda Emeline (md. John Roberts); William Siegel (md. Emma -?-); Wilson Lyon (md. Manerva Willis and Laura Scott); Sarah L. (md. William Brown); Mary E. (md. John W. Willis and Z. D. Clausen).

Clarissa Matilda (Jones) Hood(01Jul1833 - 06Mar1910), daughter of Thomas T. and Mary "Polly" Hughes Dillingham. Born in Caldwell County, KY. Married William Jones Hood on 31Aug1849 in Turnback Twp., Lawrence County, MO. William fought in Texas during the Civil War, was captured and taken to a prisoner of war camp in Fayetteville, AR, where he died prior to 1870. Clarissa and William's children were: Sarah J. Hood (md. William H. Davis); William Duncan Hood (Md. Sarah F. Creasey); Mary Elizabeth Hood (md. Josiah Upton); John Wesley Hood (md. Delilah Yandell); Clarissa Matilda; Amos Lafayette "Fate" Hood (md. Drucilla Hawkins); Eliza Rebecca Hood; Lee Hood.

George Washington Jones and John Benjamin Jones, sons of Andrew Jackson Jones and Charlotte Garroutte. Both boys ended up in Oklahoma, but Andrew Jackson Jones, (21Sep1837 - 08Nov1889) son of Thomas T. and Mary "Polly" Hughes Dillingham Jones, is buried in the Jones/Blubaum cemetery in Lawrence County. Descendants had a Civil War monument set on Andrew's grave.
