Notes from Patricia Hunt Rouleau:
Daniel James Hunt is mentioned in Goodspeed's History of Lawrence Co. on page 241, and in earlier pages in regard to the founding of Round Grove Baptist Church. Daniel and Amanda at one time ran the Mt. Vernon Hotel restaurant, but I do not know the time frame. Recipes in the cook book contributed by Amanda Hunt: Old fashioned corn lightbread, p. 15, Escalloped potatoes, p. 67, Pie crust, p. 98, Ginger cake, p. 199.
