- Eliza J. LANGSTON was born in Lawrence County, June 1, 1863, and died May 1, 1927. She was the daughter of Benjamin and Mary COLLEY. She professed faith in Christ and became a member of Fellowship Baptist church when she was 13 years of age. March 21, 1881, she was married to Charles B. Langston who survives her. To this union were born two children, Jacob Langston, who died at the age of two years, and Delia Langston, who also survives her. She is survived also by one brother, James W. Colley of Golden City and the following sisters: Mrs. Jacob DINES, Hillsboro, New Mexico; Mrs. A. FORSYTHE, Peirce City; Mrs. Charles MAHAN, Spearman, Texas; Mrs. Susia THAXTON, Red Oak; and Mrs. Elmer ETTER, Bowers Mill. [Omitted lengthy sermon concluding the obit.]
