Verbal family history indicated that Lon J ? was from an Indian tribe in northern Tennessee, There has been no documentation found yet to prove or disprove this. Her husband, Robert L Shaw, was a physician from Pittsylvania County, Virginia. Both of their daughters were born in northern Tennessee, my ancestor, Louisa Macedonia Shaw and her sister, Thessalonia Annie Shaw.
