Wabash Bridge

Wabash Railroad Bridge was completed in 1871.  One of the earlier bridges across the Mississippi north of St. Louis, it helped Hannibal to become an important railroad town. The Wabash Bridge carried pedestrians, wagons, cars, and trains.
