The 3rd Monroe County Courthouse was built in 1912.  The dome, with clock faces, is the last domed courthouse built in Missouri.

  • participate in one-time or ongoing projects to record, collect, receive, preserve, study, exhibit and share things pertaining to county history.
  • have the opportunity to learn from and enjoy workshops and presentations sponsored by the society.
  • attend meetings held on the fourth Monday of each month except July, August and December. Regular meetings, workshops, committee meetings, banquets, board meetings and sponsored events are posted on our Calendar.
  • have a voice in efforts made to preserve our county’s past that will enrich our future.
  • pay annual dues of $10 individual or $15 family. You may mail your Membership Form by postal mail.
