The Powell Cemetery is located in section 8 of Medicine Township, approximately six miles southeast of Princeton. From Princeton, go south on highway 65 approximately two miles to blacktop E and turn left (east). Go east approximately three miles to blacktop Y and turn right. Just as the road makes a gradual "S" curve before going south, the cemetery is off to the west of the road. It is considered abandoned and is not accessable by vehicle. This list has been compiled from various sources including old surveys, burial records and family histories. It should not be considered a complete list of burials.
