Shaffer Cemetery is located in section 22 of Marion Township, approximately six miles north of Princeton. From Princeton, go seven miles north on highway 65 to the first blacktop road to the left (west). Go west approximately two-and-a-half miles to the third gravel road to the left (south). Follow this road 3/4 mile. The cemetery is a few hundred yards east of the road and is inaccessable by vehicle. It is considered abandoned and not maintained. This list is compiled from various sources including old surveys, burial records and family histories. It should not be considered a complete list of burials.
