Harold Henry Kerr II
COM Kerr has a Bachelors degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology. He worked for three years as a Social Worker for the State of Missouri. He also has a Masters degree in Safety Management from Central Missouri State University and worked for ten years in Industrial Safety.
He is a member of the Cooper County Historical Society, where his fourth Great Grandfather, Peter Woods; a Baptist Minister, settled in about 1820. Kerr has been President of the Howard County Missouri Genealogical Society since 2004. He was awarded a Territorial Certificate by the Missouri State Genealogical Society (MoSGA) based on the fact Peter Woods settled in Missouri prior to the statehood of Missouri.
He is a member of the Missouri State Genealogical Association and the Sons of Confederate Veterans, the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War and the General Society of the war of 1812. He is also a member of the Kerr Family Association.
His patriot ancestor is his fifth Great Grandfather, William Woods and he also is a descendant of Captain Henry Francis who was killed in the Battle of Shallow Ford, NC on 14 October 1780...
