stone (rock) marker. A Civil War soldier was buried after the
Botts Skirmish on Botts Bluff. The Botts family buried the
soldier in their family cemetery. Records state that the name
of the soldier was Jack Case. The records call the battle the
Sante Fe Skirmish.)
