Seeking information on Sarah S. E. FERGUSON born c. 1867. She married Cassius Clay PATY 24 January 1883. Because she was under age license was approved by her grandmother Margret HUDDLESTON nee PERKINS. Margret PERKINS was Married to Nathan HUDDLESTON. I know they lived at Thomasville in Oregon County. Paty Pond is named after Cassius's father John O. PATY. Cassius and Sarah had two children , William Clay PATY ( my wife's grandfather) and Callie Lee Paty. I am trying to prove who Sarah's parent' were. From logical deductions I believe her mother to be Elizabeth HUDDLESTON but have no idea who her father is. I assume his name to have been FERGUSON since that is the name found on her marriage license. Will exchange information with anyone who can help.
