In 1860, *CARROLL VINCENT and his wife, MATULDA, lived in Oregon County, MO., Oak Grove Twp. Both were born in TN in the early 1800s and were living in Hickman County, TN during the time of the 1850 census. Children: Susan Adaline, James E., Andrew J. (my line) and William T. Also living in Oregon CO, Johnson Twp. in 1860 were JOSEPH VINCENT and his wife, SUSAN, both b. TN in early 1800s. They moved from Randolph Co, AR to Oregon County in the late 1850s. Children: James, John, Josiah, Anderson, Jefferson, Eliza J., George W., Nancy A., Susan, Elias and Mary E. The men may be cousins to REUBEN VINCENT, (1860 Oregon County, census). Do any of these Vincents sound like they might belong to your family? (*May be his middle name)
