LASLEY posted by rusty weisman on Tuesday, October 10, 2000

The Oregon County Cemeteries Book reports a family cemetery said to have been located south of Thomasville along the right of way of State Route 99, northeast of the Middle Fork Bridge. This cemetery reportedly contained graves of two infant children of A.J. and Nancy Lasley, which may have been disturbed by highway construction back in 1924. I would appreciate hearing from anyone with direct knowledge of this cemetery. The Missouri Department of Transportation Plans highway improvements along SR99 in this area beginning in mid-2001.

REYNOLDS posted by Billie on Friday, November 3, 2000

My search is for Elizabeth Ann Runnels/Reynolds. She and husband James M. Reynolds are listed in the Ripley Co. Mo. 1850 census as Runnels...later the name is changed to Reynolds. We believe she died in 1856 or 57 ...have searched in the cemetery listings in Ripley Co. and did not find her. Since Ore. Co. used to be part of Ripley Co. (I am told), would greatly appreciate further advise on how to find where she is buried. He later appears in Randolph Co. Ark., with another wife. Thanks, Billie
