I am looking for my great-great grandmother's family. Her name was Mary Elvina Hilderbrand or Hildebrandt. She was born April 20, 1874 in Jefferson Co. Missouri. She married Louis Shanks on March 1, 1893 in Gatewood, Missouri. The marriage license has Oregon Co. on it, and her name is spelled Hildebrandt. Her obit list her name has Hilderbrand. She died on February 4, 1960 in Tryon,Oklahoma. Her Death Certificate lists her parents as Henry and Clara, and a brother named Ed living in Sand Springs,Oklahoma. Her parents were probably born around 1850. I believe her family lived in Oregon Co. in 1893. She might have been living near Louis Shanks' parents Margaret E. Chase and John D.Miller. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.

My Great grandparents were Richrd J Beason and Rhoda Polk. I believe they were both from Jackson County Alabama and they eventually settled in Dade Co MO. One of Richard's sisters Sarah Beason married george Lafayette Campbell from Oregon County. Both Polks and Beasons are in the 1850 census for Oregon County. Can anyone tell me which of the many children of Henry Beason passed through Oregon Co? Does anyone know of the Polk family that included Rhoda and may have been in Oregon Co in 1850? Richard and Rhoda's daughter Lucinda married my grandfather Warren Traller in Dade Co and her sister married my granduncle Thomas F. Traller. A cousin , Julia Taylor, daughter of Richard's sister Lucinda and James Taylor married another granduncle George Traller.
