looking for any information concerning benjamin keeny who lived in oregon county, mo. he was married to lillian price (or payne). they had two sons: benjamin (bennie) keeny and robert (bob) keeny.lillian died in holt county, mo. bob married carolyn mccracken and they had arthur scott keeny in 1975. arthur scott is my husband. we are looking for any other information on these people and their families. if you can help me with any information please contact me.

I am still searching for information about the Alanson and Harriett Barnes family of Oregon Co. Alanson was also known as Al,and Harriett as Hettie. They raised a large family in the area of Highland Township. I have them on the census through 1920. At home at that time was Hettie as head of household (Alanson died in 1909). Daughters Mittie Rittie and Lillie Maritte (Mae) as well as son Daniel.Hettie died in 1941 at the age of 101 years, 4 months. Mittie married George Ross Mae married Albert Carr (where?) I am searching for information on my Grandmother Aquila Vesta Baker. She was raised by Samuel Greer Brawley and wife. She married William Sherman Butts in 1918. She had a sister and brother who were raised by the Brawleys also. They lived at Falling Springs. Any help appreciated.

In the 1880 U.S. Federal Census for District 84, Lynn, Oregon Co., Missouri, I found my great-great-grandfather and his family. They were listed as: J. T. Vanhorn, 41 Nicey Vanhorn, 35 Francis Marion, son, 12 Polly A., dau, 10 Eliza E., dau, 8 Margaret Vanhorn, dau, 6 My family line descends through Margaret Vanhorn who married Al Smith later in Sharp Co., Arkansas. Does anyone have any information about this family while they were located in Oregon County? Thanks in advance!
