Just discovered that a couple of my ancestors left Town's County GA and went to Missouri. I found one, Alexander S. SWANSON (b.1834 NC) in Crawford township, Osage County on 1880 and 1900 census. It is believed that his brother, Linville Jackson SWANSON (b.1832 NC) also went to Missouri. I could not find him at all on 1870 or 1880 census. Any info on either line is much appreciated. Hello. I am doing research on my family line of Feagans. Alot of my family lived in Osage county around Linn and the surrounding areas. My paternal great- great grandmother Martha Feagans ( wife of Charles R. Feagans) died in Osage County on April 15, 1880 of pnuemonia. She was buried in the Mount Ariel Cemetary. My paternal great grandfather, William Thomas Feagans was born in Lynn, Missouri in 1875. I need more information on my family. If you can help me, I would greatly appreciate it. CRAIN, Jeremiah (Jery) S. is shown in 1850 Osage Co. census. I believe he might be the son of either Nancy SPARKS or Emily (Milly) SPARKS from TN. Also think the S. stands for Sparks and, if so, this family is mentioned in King's History of Maries County, MO. Jery's son, Stephen married Eliza MILNE. They had children George W., John, and Rachel Elizabeth. Rachel married William R. "Billie" BEESLEY.

MILNE, John is in 1850 Osage census showing born in NY with wife, Elizabeth (age 40), daughter Eliza and three other children. John's wife and children all shown born in Ohio.

DAVIS, Ganaway is shown with wife Nancy in 1850 Osage census and listing includes son named Green. Green DAVIS married Milly CRAIN, dau of Stephen and Eliza.
