Funeral Services.
Funeral services for Milan - Mrs. Maude Bird Wilbanks, 59,
of 345 Adams, Dundee, died Thursday morning in Saline Community
Hospital after an illness of eight months.
She was born
Aug. 6, 1904, in Hayti, Mo., tje daughter of John and Rosa Lee
Fields.
She was married to Jack Wilbanks in Blythville,
Ark., on March 19, 1921, and the couple lived in Wardell, Mo.,
and Ypsilanti before moving to Dundee in 1954.
Mrs.
Wilbanks was employed at Ypsilanti State Hospital for 15 years
prior to her illness.
She was a member of the Methodist
Church and the White Shrine of Jerusalem, Ann Arbor Shrine No.
54.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son,
Cleatus at home; a daughter, Mrs. V. E. (Meredith) Krouse of
Wabash, Ind., three grandchildren; two brothers, Harry of
Jackson, Miss., and John D. of Wardell, Mo.; and a sister, Mrs.
Curtis (Pearline) Sawyer of Wardell, Mo.
Two brothers
and two sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call
at the Stevens & Bush Funeral Home in Milan from 6 to 10 p. m.
Thursday.
The body will be taken to the Jimmy Osborne
Funeral Home in Wardell, Mo., for funeral services.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetary in Hayti, Mo.
