Know all men by these presents that I John Ohlrogge of Pettis County in the state of Missouri do hereby make and constitute my last will and Testament. Not withstanding that I enjoy good and satisfactory health and of good sound mind, but not knowing what the ruler of all things has determined. I after first will and recomend my soul to the grace of almighty God, and then I will and bequeath to my daughter Geshe, the sum of twenty dollars and to my daughter Katharina I will Four hundred dollars, to be paid out of my left estate after my death and the balance of my left estate, real as well as personal, including my outstanding claims or notes. I will and bequeath to my wife Geshe Ohlrogge which my said wife I hereby will to besides the above said two legacies my sole and universal heir of my estate, but in the same time I will and enjoin her my said wife Gesche Ohlrogge to pay all my justifull debts, and enjoy the legacies willed and bequeathed to her during her natural life, that is if she my said wife does remain after my death as widow, but is she prefer to marry which I not intend to hinder her of then she only shall be entitled to her widow dower, as the law then establish the dower to her and the remainders of my left Estate after the payments of my justful Debts and the legacies willed to my daughters Gesche willed & bequeathed to my daughter Katharina Ohlrogge. If my said wife Geshe Ohlrogge shall & will not marry again after my death, then I appoint and declare her hereby as my executor, and be no further administration, but in every case mysaid wife shall be bound to pay my Doctor's bill and defray my funeral expenses. Now and at last I recommend once more my soul to the grace of almighty God and declare this as my last will & Testament, and subscribing to it by making my hand mark & seal on this the 13th day of June 1864.

I John G. Bruehl notary public duly commissioned and qualified in this and for the County of Pettis & State of Mo certify that Mr. Ohlrogge of Pettis County Mo. who has subscribed to the above instrument of writing by making his mark thereto, subscribed in my presence and declared by making his mark thereto, subscribed in my presence and declared the above his last will & Testament, that he was & is at the time of signature of full & sound mind. This the 13th day of June 1864. John G. Bruehl, N.P.

We certify hereby that Mr. Ohlrogge subscribed to the above instrument of writing in our presence and declared it to be his last will & Testament in this the 13th day of June 1864. Claus Veits and (unreadable)

State of Missouri, County of Pettis

In vacation of the County Court in this 6th day of March 1865 personally appeared before me Clerk of the Pettis County Court, Jno. G. Bruehl & Claus Veits the subscribing witnesses to the annexed will of & being by me first duly sworn depose & say that the said Jno. Ohlrogge the testator subscribed the same in their presence & published the same as his last will & Testament, that he the said testator was at the time of publishing his said will of sound mind & more than 21 years of age & that they the said deponents attested said will as witnesses thereto by subscribing their names to the same in the presence of said Testator.
