LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF JACOB AFFOLTER

15 February 1897

I, Jacob Affolter of Phelps County, Missouri, do make and publish this my last will and testament.

I give and bequeath to my children an equal parts. Elizabeth Christisson, Albert Affolter, Oscar Affolter, John Affolter, Ferdinand Affolter, Jacob Affolter, William Affolter, Emma Affolter, and Charles Affolter all being real estate of my property and the same to be equally divided between said children as above names given, it being my real effects of my estate.

I do hereby appoint my son John as Executor of this my last will to execute same in as above described.

In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand this 15" day of February 1897.

Signed and declared by the above named Jacob Affolter to be his last will and testament in presence of us, who at his request and in his presence have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.

Except one hundred paid by Jacob Affolter to his son Albert Affolter, if said amount be paid to said John Affolter the same to be credited on the same and to be paid to each child equally and said real estate to stand as they are now until said children, all who, is no minors which is to make them a home until they become of age or other wise married.

County of Phelps) ss.

Be it remembered, that on the 21st day of May A.D. 1903, personally appeared before me, Albert Neuman, Judge of the probate court, of the county and state aforesaid J. W. Eddleman, Mary E. Mihlfeld the subscribing witnesses to the annexed will of Jacob Affolter, deceased and being by me first duly sworn depose and say, that said Jacob Affolter the testator subscribed the same in presence and at the request of said testator.

In witness whereof, I Albert Neuman, Judge of probate, have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed the seal of said court, at office in the city of Rolla, this 9" day of May 1903.
