Walnut Grove Cemetery
Located about 1 mile N or Parkville on the E side of 9 Hwy. in Pettis township
The Walnut Grove Cemetery Association was organized in April 1883. The land was purchased from S. H. Graden, who became one of the partnership with Daniel Lowmiller, W. G. Gano, J. R. Flanery and Frank Luthy.
Mr. Gano was the 1st president of the Association and Herbert Busch the current president.
The founders of Park College, George S. Park and Rev. John H. McAfee, are buried in this cemetery.
