INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY:
If Bolivar schools are closed because of weather, the library will also be closed.
There will be no night meeting, either, if school is closed on a Thursday. If bad weather
develops on a Thursday afternoon before the regular monthly meeting, members can
call 417-777-2820 to find out the status of the meeting.

The PCGS Library Hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Mon., Wed., Fri. and Sat.

9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Polk County Senior Center, 1850 W. Broadway, Bolivar, MO
(between Meek's Lumber and the YMCA on Hwy 32
)

9:00 a.m. -- 9:15 a.m. Registration and Browsing
9:15 a.m. -- 9:30 a.m. Welcome and Introductions
9:30 a.m. -- 10:30 a.m. Joe Underwood, representative for Gen Smarts, a computer program that
works with your family tree programs and aids in your research.
10:30 a.m. -- 11:00 a.m. Break and Browsing
11:00 a.m. -- 12:00 p.m. Seth Smith, representative for the newspaper archives in the State Historical
Society of Missouri in Columbia. He instructed on how to research the collections.
12:00 p.m. -- 1:00 p.m. Lunch
1:00 p.m. -- 1:30 p.m. Browsing
1:30 p.m. -- 3:00 p.m. Nancy Blue spoke on how to trace Indian heritage.
3:00 p.m. -- 4:00 p.m. Last chance to shop and visit.


Meetings are free and open to the public. Everyone welcome!
