Marcus and Elsie were married 22 August 1909.  Marcus is the s/o Wiley McLaughlin and Grace Ellen Victoria Woods.  Elsie is the d/o Sherman Summers and Mary Jane Williams.  Their children are:  Ruby Pearl (McLaughlin) Hildebrand, b 17 Dec 1912 (Karen’s grandmother); Mary Etheen (McLaughlin) Sneed, b 30 Aug 1914; Oscar David McLaughlin, b 23 Aug 1916; Lucy Ellen (McLaughlin) Wade, b 23 Dec 1920; Alma Maxine (McLaughlin) Crews, b 5 Aug 1923; Inez Leona (McLaughlin) Rogers, b 15 Jun 1926.
