I am searching for my 2g grandmother, Christina FETROW-ADAMSON.(Mrs Milo)grave cite. Christina died Feb 1895 in Stoddard Co. MO. At the home of her dau Amanda Jane (Mrs. George Brooks). We are told home located at Grayridge, or near Morehouse? Christina was visiting from IN. Will someone tell me what cemeteries would have been used in 1895 in those area's. ALEXANDER ALLEN b. Scotland abt. 1813 died in DEXTER, MO and I'm looking for the name of the cemetery in which he is buried. His wife was LOUISA PARKER b IL abt. 1828 and she could have died in DEXTER also. The last account I have of this family in on the Pulaski CO, IL 1850 census. Their chn were: John P., Martha, and Emerella. Alex was 37 in 1850. Another related family was Jefferson MARTIN's, b. KY.

As the oldest surviving member of these families, I w/very much appreciate any info.Both families lived in Puxico, Mo. AND in williamsville, Mo in period 1900.Well-known in Puxico was Sallie Anyan-as the local washerwoman, NOT ANNA, as stated by an earlier submittor. To clarify, Anna was Not the wife of John, (Sallie was his wife).Anna was my grandmother & wife of Harry D. Anderson, my beloved grandad. Both my grandmoms had a very close relationship w/us( me & my siblings, Deanie & John Anyan,) as we spent many of our summers w/them & were so blessed in our closeness.As a very young girl, I felt privileged to be very close to these precious elders.Indeed, both my grandad, Harry Anderson, & my grgrandad,(Joshua Roberts, father of my grandmom Anna Roberts Anderson,) made their living in the MO. lumbering ind., cutting ties, etc. for MOSS Tie co. of PUXiCO, MO. I w/truly welcome any info from anyone who might have even the slightest info to add!

I am searching for my late Father-in-Law's family. His name was William Asberry and he was born May 7, 1910 in Stoddard County. His father was James Asberry and his mother Janie Asberry. I know he had an older half brother Newton(Newbert)Asberry, a half sister Mandy Asberry and another half brother Eli Hodge. His parents died between 1915? and 1920. On the 1920 census he was living with his sister Amanda her husban James Fortner and a nephew Andrew Saxton. Any and all information is appreciated.
