Do you have any information to help me determine if I have any relatives? According to U.S. Army records my father, James Frank Edmondson is listed as having been born in Dexter, Mo. on March 17, 1911, however, the social security index lists his date of birth as March 7, 1908. He enlisted in the Army in 1925, making him only 14 if he was born in 1911 or 17 if he was born in 1908. My father abandoned our family in 1942, and we do not have any family information. I am awaiting a copy of his birth certificate.
