I have an an index for soldiers (over 13,000) who died and were buried at Andersonville Prison, Andersonville, Ga. during the Civil War, and will do lookups in this index.   Please give me a name and State when sending me a lookup request.  You can also search the Andersonville Prisoner Lookup Database which contains the names of 32,000 prisoners.

Burton J. Smith and his brother William both enlisted in Company "K" of the 29th Missouri Infantry Volunteers. I believe that four of the Companies in the 29th Mo. were from Scott and surrounding Counties. Burton Smith is my ancestor.
