Descendants of Jacob Brown and Rebecca Smallwood Many of our Browns settled around the Birch Tree area. The Brown Reunion is held each year on the first Sunday in August, at a location that is decided in advance. Anyone who is interested in our Brown family is invited to attend. We are constantly trying to keep our family history updated, and would welcome any information, photos, and memories you would like to share with us. |

2009 BUNCH FAMILY REUNION NEWS

On May 30, 2009 the Bunch Family held their 9th annual reunion at the Spring Pavillion in Alley Spring Park! In spite of gas prices, and the economy we had 50 in attendance with 5 states represented. Those of us in attendance report a "grand old time" of visiting, reminiscing, and eating! We had 16 new attendees! They were: Dwain Wood, Shirley Wood, Frankie Wood, Danielle Wood, Jeremy Wood, J. D.. Wood, Debbie Wood Henderson, Katrina Henderson, Jim Walters, Ashley Millis, Maudeline Gore Hicks, Meredith Boyers, Dick Brooks, Josh Brooks, Jonathan Brooks, and Laura Brooks.We were pleased they came to spend some time with us and hope they will return each year!
The honor for TRAVELING GREATEST DISTANCE again goes to Wilma Smith Harris from Rohnert Park, CA, daughter of the late George & Ethel Bunch Smith. That is her 7th time (out of 9) of winning that award! Added to that is the "perfect attendance" award as she has attended all 9 of the reunions! Wilma shares the perfect attendance with: George & Phyllis Bunch Davidson of Granite City, IL, Melyssa Edgar Weaver of Eminence, MO, and Glen & Pearl Bunch Edgar of Eminence, MO. The ELDEST IN ATTENDANCE honor goes to Nina McIntire of Eminence, MO, spouse of Don McIntire. The YOUNGEST IN ATTENDANCE goes to Laura Brooks, granddaughter of Dick & Malynda Edgar Brooks of Arroll, MO. The ELDEST NAMESAKE honor goes to Leon Bunch of Jonesboro, IL, son of the late Charley & Cora Donaldson Bunch.

This years fundraiser was a beautiful afghan made by Irene Bunch Raugust! Tickets were sold for it. Near the end of the day Pat Bunch's name was drawn for the winning number. Pat bring it along next reunion so we can all be jealous of your treasure!
