Joshua Rickman was born 9 Aug 1801 Sumner Co., TN. He was the son of
Nathan V. Rickman and Franky Hardy.
Joshua had six siblings. He apparently owned land in Tennessee, but in 1840
decided to go to Missouri.
He was with a grop of wagons that included the Ledbetters and Terrys.
Joshua Rickman married Mary Barnett Terry on 3 July 1845. Daughter of James
Sparkfarley Terry and Elizabeth Abbott Hughes,
Mary was born 4 Nov 1819 Smith County, TN. Mary had five siblings.
Joshua died 28 April 1878 Chalk Level, St. Clair Co., Missouri and is buried in
Terry Cemetery.
Mary Barnett (Terry) Rickman died Nov 1893 Chalk Level, St. Clair Co., Missouri.
Her burial location is unknown.
