Feb 5th (Sat) ---King's Ball.
Tis the season for the King's Ball in Historical
Ste. Genevieve. The annual ball will be held at the VFW Hall
on Memorial Drive. This wonderful celebration has been held
in Ste. Genevieve for over 250 years. Tickets $8 adults $5
students & children. Cash Bar. Tables of 8 or 10 may be
reserved. Everyone is encouraged to dress in French Colonial
attire and come enjoy the music of the "Cash Rebates" for
traditional music and dance.

June 4-5 2005 House & Garden Tour--"Experience
the Arts.
Take the annual tour of eight gardens in Ste. Genevieve and
visit the Bolduc House Museum herb and plant sale.

June 11- 12---French Candelight Veillee
This evening gathering in the garden of the Felix Vallé House
re-creates a summer social gathering, a veillée, from the
early 1800s. Tours of the home by candlelight, French folktales,
a demonstration of French folk dances and refreshments highlight
the event.

of festivities, the area's largest craft fair,
food & entertainment. Always the 2nd full

War Assemblage. A
living history event portraying the time period of the fort with
camp life, contests and vignettes. Free Fort de Chartres IL. |

Oct 8 & 9-- Autumn Daze |

Oct. 7 - 9, 2005 Promenade des Arts--This
year's Promenade des Arts, the Art Walk, will be held at the
Mammy
Shaw House and the garden of the Felix Valle House, Merchant
and 2nd Streets, all day on Saturday and Sunday Oct. 8 and
9; and it is free. On Friday evening, Oct. 7, at 6:00 p.m.
a reception will be held at the Mammy Shaw House for our featured
artist. Hors d'oeuvres and wine will be provided and a $10
per person contribution to the Ste. Genevieve Art Guild will
be appreciated. This art show is being held in conjunction
with the French Colonial October Festival.
