Mr. and Mrs. Ira Williford of Elvins received a telegram on Thursday, August 26th, confirming the death of their son, Harry, who was previously reported missing. The message reads as follows: Ira Lloyd Williford The Secretary of war desires that I tender his deep sympathy to you in the loss of your son, Staff Sergeant Harry E. Williford.
