This calling card was found in the effects of Joseph Gardner Royal. His father was William A. Royal who lived in Wright County, Missouri, but may have passed through Stoddard County. He is listed in the 1870 Wright County census. He died in 1877. Joseph Gardner Royal's grandfather was William G. Horton who lived in Stoddard County, MO. He is listed in the 1860 census. This calling card was with old tintype pictures. It was a hand drawn card. Does anyone know anything about Q. P. Coffman? He might have been a relative or the photographer who made the tintypes.
