I am trying to locate the parents and siblings for James M. Brown. He was born in Randolph County but he lived most of his life in Johnson and Vernon Counties. He was a farmer and lived in the northern area of Vernon County. They lived across the road from a family who farmed named Crenshaw. ( C.H.and Virginia Crenshaw ) James was married to Nancy George. They had a total of seven children. He died in Vernon County in 1881 at age 39 and is buried in Pryor Creek Cemetery near Metz. His wife and children moved to Montana after his death.
