Metz All-School Reunion

June 4, 2011 ~ Vernon County Fairgrounds Diner

Metz School Exhibits at the Metz Bank:  1:00-2:30 p.m.

Registration for Reunion begins at Fairgrounds:  5:00 p.m.

Alumni Meeting and Reunion Banquet at Fairgrounds:  6:00 p.m.

Banquet reservations with payment required by May 16; contact Colleen Reed, (660) 643-7420.  Metz "Cardinal Country" t-shirts available for preorder; $15 for shirts picked up at the Reunion, +$5 if to be mailed.  Shirt order deadline with payment is May 16.

Summers Family Reunion

July 9-10, 2011

Moses, Jesse J., and Allen Summers and their families were the first settlers in 1829 in the area now known as Vernon County, MO. All descendants of these three families are invited to a Summers Reunion to be held at the Moore-Few Community Room, 901 South Adams Street, Nevada, MO on Saturday and Sunday, July 9-10, 2011. Those attending are invited to bring pictures and family history information to share. A visit to the Summers Cemetery and other area cemeteries is planned. Please contact Tobie Brown at tbrownretired@yahoo.com regarding the reunion.  Share information about this reunion with other family members. More details will follow.
