the west and Rte. EE on the east. T46N * T47N, R3W &
4W, about 4 to 5 miles south of I-70 and the Montgomery
County line)

Notes:
Micheal Engel came to America in 1847 with his
2nd wife and 5 children. They settled in
Cambria Co., PA. After 8 years they came to
St. Louis, and then to Warren Co., MO. They
settled on 320 acres south of Pendelton, Warren
Co., MO, where this cemetery is located.
Micheal Engel first married Unknown and had 4
children: John Conrad Engel, George Johann Engel,
Jacob F. Engel and Gottlieba Catherine
Engel. His first wife died @1845, he
married Marguerite Ott @1845 in Germany,
they had 7 children: William Wilahelm Engel,
Mathias Engel, Andrew D. Engel, Mary Dora Engel,
Caroline Engel, Christina Engel and Wilhelmine
Engel. Gottlieba
Catherine Engel married Jacob Henry Kimmel @ 1861
in St. Louis, MO, he was a merchant in
Pendelton. They had 5 children: Henry
Kimmel, Emma Kimmel, Charles Kimmel, George
Kimmel, and Lila Kimmel. After his wife's
death, Jacob married Cecelia Thompson, Oct 07
1882, they had 2 children: Rosa Kimmel and Julius
Kimmel.
