Sanders, who
assumed his duties as sheriff of Wright
County the first of the year, has begun in a way
that has won for him the approbation of all friends oftemperance, sobriety
and progress.
Saturday, he began making
Hartville look like a dry town by locking up a couple
of
drunks and he says he's going to keep at it until drunk
men are scarer than hen's teeth
around here. He is also
mapping out a plan of street work which will give thecity the
cleanest and best improved streets of any town of its
size in Missouri. He has already
made some changes and improvements
in the county jail and is demonstrating at every
turn that Wright County has the right sheriff. He should
receive the cooperation of all
peace loving citizens.)
