Elizabeth
46 f TN
For years her surname was believed to be Senic but
the death certificate of son Henry J. Owens states his mother's name was
Elizabeth KNOX, Senic is an error attributed to the transcription of poor
handwriting and poor photo-copy of an earlier death certificate. It is
believed she d ca 1866, and he married the young widow AMOS, with the disapproval
of his children, so he left Wright Co and never returned; Rhea Co TN Marr
Records show Betsey KNOX m on 3 Nov 1819 to Jonathan OWENS;
