So when Copeland came from a trip to Mobile and learned of this, he said it sounded like thunder in his ears. Then he was determined to get Harvey. Then Copeland began to reflect in his mind and everything he had ever done in this state and others came before his eyes, and all was done for money, but the thought of now that Wages and McGrath were dead and the $30,000.00 was his, this made him cheer up.
