Shurden m interested in sharing information regarding
the Hiram Thomas BALLARD in the 1860, 1880 censuses. Hiram was married
first to Sarah TWITTY (both of Lancaster Co., SC) and second to Elizabeth
Ann COMFORT DOUGLAS (d. of James K. and M.C. (?) COMFORT, both of
SC). Hiram's father was Thomas
BALLARD, who also came to MS with him after his wife Martha HAMMOND died.
Does anyone have proof of who Thomas' parents were? Thanks, Lynn

I am searching
for information concerning Joseph BARRON who married Alice CHURCH. They
had a son named William Irving BARRON b. Feb. 10, 1892 d. Dec. 9, 1956.
William is my husband's grandfather. We are having a great deal of difficulty
finding ANYTHING about Joseph & Alice CHURCH BARRON. We have copies
of photos that we believe to be Joseph BARRON. THANK YOU for ANY assistance.

of 1880 lists a Z. BARRON, wife M.E., and 4 children: E.J., J.A.,
H.H., and L.B. My ggrandmother was Julia BARRON WOODSON, b. May 22,
1876, d. Oct 13, 1961. I have noinfo on her parents or other info on Z.

I am especially trying to find the parents of Elijah
THOMPSON, born around 1811 in South Carolina. He is listed on the 1840,
1850, 1860, and 1870 Choctaw County, MS census. His wife's given name was
Eliza A. I would also like her maiden name and the names of her parents.
She was born in Alabama. I believe Elijah had a brother, named Joseph living
with his family in 1850. He was born around 1829. Elijah and Eliza had
Jeptha, Rachel, Louisa, Josiah, William, Keziah, Elisha, Sarah, Ann, Christopher,
Benjamin, and Mary. Any help appreciated.

BOX, b. Jan. 1862, son of Dillard BOX; m. (1)
Belle MORGAN 1886, daughter of Andrew MORGAN and Elizabet h BRAMLETT.
They had 5 children, one being my ggrandfather, Philip (P.C), b. 1887; also
had John M., Rosa May, Zeny A. and Maud B. He m. (2) Florence WILLS in
1904 and had Bessie M., Donald N. and Hiram. If this is related to
anyone looking up info on the BOX surname, please contact me.
Update info: Also looking for info on Emaline RUSHING BOX, b. AL;
moved to Choctaw Co, m. Dillard BOX. These are the parents
of W. G (Bud) BOX. Thanks.

had a son; Henson, b. Jul 10, 1888, m. Fairy Elinor McGAUGH, b. Jun 3,
1888. They had a daughter who was
the first born of 11 children, all b. in Choctaw Co. Thelma Mavis m. Howard
Basil HORTON,son of Jessie Will HORTON and Mary Etta WILLIAMS,
daughter of John Adcock WILLIAMS. Does anyone have any info
on who N. L. BRADSHAW's parents could
have been?? I am also stuck on the
parents of Jessie Will HORTON,
the only son of C. Abner HORTON, b. ca 1800 and Esther JOHNSON, b.

KING, BRADSHAW, REID, SUTHERLAND
I am looking for anyone with information
on Martha KING (REDD) BRADSHAW, and her sister Rhoda (KING (SUTHERLAND)
VAUGHN. These girls were born in Henry Co., Ala late 1830's and
married around 1860 to a REDD and a SUTHERLAND both men being killed in
the war, and both re-marrying late 1860's. They were members
of Spring HIll Church near Dido. Rhoda is buried there, she's the
widow of George M. VAUGHN. Don't know where Martha is buried. I am researching
primarily the KING line, but would like to know more about them.

lived in Choctaw Co. and Montgomery Co. Amanda is buried in Montgomery Co.
Their son, Thomas Wesley BRAMLETT, b. 22 Jan 1879 in Sibleyton, married Mary
Elizabeth NEWMAN in Choctaw Co. I have their marriage certificate. Any other

late 1800's. Need parents of Moses BRIDGES who was married first to Elizabeth
(possibly YARBOROUGH) and second, Martha JESTER. Also, need parents
of Cordelia BROCK, who was living with Daniel & Arminda HOGAN
in 1870, and married Lucine Marceline BRIDGES before 1880.
