Choctaw County, MS
Reference Books and Lookup Volunteers
IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ
will not tolerate any copyright violations. Lookup requests
should be limited to one name, or perhaps
two if it is a married couple.
Information given will be minimal. For
if it is a cemetery lookup,
the information will be the name of the
and the dates on the
headstone. Please do not ask for "everybody
with X surname" or an entire
family group, or for hardcopies to be mailed;
the volunteers have been asked
not to comply with such requests.
Our lookups will extend to searching the book to determine if the book would be helpful to you in your research. Should the book prove useful, we can provide the authors address and ordering information. If you have any questions, please contact Jackie Rhodes.
While there is no shortage of Choctaw Co References, there a shortage of volunteers to do lookups. If you own (or have access to) any Choctaw Co references and will do look-ups, please let me know.
Where I do have volunteers lined up, please abide by these guidelines. Limit your request to one name per request. Please put CHOCTAW CO LOOKUP in the subject line of your request to insure the message is not overlooked or accidentally deleted. In the first line of the message please put the name of the book from which you are requesting the lookup.
While we will be glad to point to your family history homepage on the net, we cannot store GEDCOMs on this server.
