Seeking any info on the Virgil/Virgin NICHOLS family listed in the 1850 Choctaw Co. MS census. He was b. abt. 1790 Del. A son named James Joshua NICHOLS b.1827 GA appears a few houses down. Virgil may have been a minister or missionary. He is found in GA prior to 1840.

Trying to locate the Father of NOATIMAH, daughter,  Her Father was supposedly a Chief of a Choctaw tribe, and I believe from southern MS; NOATIMAH m. a MORAN, Peter or maybe John B. She had a daughter Mary Josey MORAN, who m. John B. LADINER, (Battiste) Any info or a point in the direction I need to go for research would be appreciated. I am the (a) Great- Great-Great-Great-grandson or Noatimah. Thanks for any help.

John Bart NORWOOD and Daisy BROWN NORWOOD possibly lived in Choctaw County around 1914. His parents were Columbus NORWOOD and Sally NIXON Norwood. Daisy's parents were William F BROWN and Josephine ELLISON BROWN. I am searching for information regarding this family of mine.
